    Black looks way better
That's me. Shortest field I've been into was a paved 3000' strip. Had tons of space to spare.

The property has a 40 by 60 steel aircraft hangar with the wide barn doors. I am still trying to find financing, so have not contacted the owner to find out what kind of craft used a short runway yet such a large hangar.

Maybe a couple of small planes? 1500 feet is short, 2000 is more doable but still short

Due to a head injury when I was younger I cannot get a medical certificate. I have held the controls of several bush planes in Alaska, but I was never the sole pilot. Those days are long time and far away now. I still think about what if however.

Some bush planes can use the smaller runways and do so on a regular basis in Alaska. But the thought of a bush plane in Arkansas scares me.

and become the target of every redneck with a BB gun? My flying days are over, and my only flight occurs in my Taco.

I am more interested in the land itself since there are trails that are class 5 and above on the property.

http://razorbacklandcruisers.com/ Those guys have a bunch of the old hard core Toys. I wish I could find a LHD Troopy that was not completely worn out. Mining companies and the military were the usual owners and they were beat to death.
