I'm at gravel ridge/Sherwood city line.

 

Good looking truck!. I like the red...I almost bought the inferno color. Hit me up sometime. We are close to Miller's Crossing.

 

Camp is a tiny town If you blink you will miss it . Salem is a little bigger . Motel just outside of Salem down Hyw . 62 , east of Salem ? there is more available in the Hardy Arkansas area. The whole area around there is woods , rivers , small lakes and Beef cattle ranches . Mostly retirement and summer recreation area , old homestead land , river rafting , camping ,fishing , golfing ,horseback riding etc. Hardy has some neat old stores / shops from the 1800's . Cool if you like that stuff .
Check out Mammoth Spring, a rather large spring that is said to be a place where the underground cold waters from Canada come to the surface . the water is used to raise Trout down river . There is a small ,free year round tourist attraction there , big civil war cannon etc.

Were you involved with the land buy over on Garrison Road for the city of Little Rock? 645 acres for a million bucks?

I hunted that land growing up and even tried to buy some of it for years, but I always got turned away. Then they chopped a bunch of tree's down and then sold the land.

BTW, I wonder if any archeologists took a look at Ridgefield estates before any building was going on. I saw signs of Native American burial area's on the ridges. Also found spear points and arrowheads all over the area.

 

Yeah that was a joke, soccer fields in the middle of nowhere. The locals turned it into a great mudding venue though... the latest is a private group is trying to buy it for an ATV/UTV park. I never heard of any formal surveys at Ridgefield, but heard it was a good spot to hunt for relics.

 

I used to ride my ATV on that property before the soccer fields. It was for horses, ATVs and dirt bikes several years ago. I need to go back and check out the changes
