Machado to the Padres. Harper still unsigned.

 

Just thrilled Machado ain't coming to the AL Central . . .

 

I hope the Padres find a way to sign Harper too haha. Keep him out of Philly and the NL East (I'm a Braves fan). Give the Dodgers some competition.

 

Now with the dodgers back in the mix for Harper, every alert I receive from ESPN has me kinda hoping it’ll say that they finally signed him haha

Cardinals and Red Sox fan here.

My wife and I picked the Red Sox at the beginning of the season since MLB At Bat has blackout for the Cardinals, Royals and the Rangers because of where we live. We didn't jump on the band wagon, but picked an iconic team that we knew we could watch on the app we pay for. We wanted a team we could enjoy watching and some of our friends are Yankees fans, so we picked the other side.

Yep i absolutely love it and not just saying so being a diehard fan.If i’m not staying with relatives when i go back for a visit i prefer to stay at the Springhill Suites on Federal Street which is directly across the street from PNC Park.It’s a exciting feeling leaving the hotel/motel and walking directly into the ballpark.

 

I read they were at least exploring the possibility. SD has one of the best farm systems already. Sounds like ownership is ready to start winning.

the Royals have a tentative MLB-sanctioned exhibition with the AAA team here in a little over 2 weeks to commemorate 50yrs (was postponed last year for weather)
we currently have over a foot of snow on the ground still, wonder if they are going to have to postpone or just cancel the whole thing. When I was younger I remember the regular exhibitions here at the old park during the 80s and getting to see George Brett and the rest

yes very unfortunate, plus he will lose his multi-year streak of starting AL all-star catcher its been fun watching him on tv catch all of the big guns!

 

Rumors are that the royals are signing martin maldonaldo . Great catcher not a salvi tho .
