    It’s sad when teams like Detroit, Pittsburg, Cincinnati are good. The historical teams being bad isn’t good for baseball. Except when the Red Sox are bad that’s great for baseball.

    Don’t know if there are any Oakland fans on here but I was pretty impressed with them. Been one of the best 2nd half teams.

    New Royals owner obviously has deep pockets. Anxious to see what he brings? Still a comparatively small market but we can and do fill the stands when the team is competitive. Interesting that ALL the farm teams qualified for post season. One of the announcers said that is the first time in Franchise history.

    Yeah, and I brag on the As and they lose 2 straight one run games to the Yanks. Allowed 2 straight HRs in the bottom 9th for a walkoff . . . :confused:

    Guess they did win the 1st game . . .

    We were trying to lose another series to the worst team in baseball (Orioles) but just went up 1 in the rubber game. I probably just screwed that up too though :notsure:

    Edit: Hey, I didn’t screw it up! Soler tied Moustakis HR record but could not break it at home. We finally got Mondesi back. 4 hits, 3 steals . . . hasn’t missed a beat!
