It does seem that with each new virus the fear reaction is stronger. It wouldn’t surprise me if it was yet another negative side effect of social media.

I may be a minority, sure the Fan in me is disappointed but I applaud Manfred, Silver etc.. for pausing play.

At least till medical gurus can get understanding of how this Virus is progressing the US?

oh well it’s not the 1st time I’ve had tickets to a game cancelled!

Do I hold on to my tickets or turn them in for for refund?

    I also have Mlb.tv. Guess I’ll hold for a season restart.:fingerscrossed:

I was located in the Milwaukee area in spring '99 during the time it was being built, driving down 94 it seemed every day checking on the progress from afar

lol I am with you as I don't know what to make of it either, as well I too typically wait for the light...

I thought it was an interesting gesture that the yankees decided to stay together as a team after being notified they can travel back to their homes. Not sure the status on other teams and if the yankees are still sticking to that decision as this is changing every 12-24 hours....

hopefully this shit can be reeled in quickly, we don't really realize how much we take sports for granted until its gone

With all this free time on my hands i watched the doc/movie on Netflix “Battered Bastards Of Baseball.”

Entertaining. The bat boy going over things is hilarious. Also if you ever had a pouch of BIG LEAGUE CHEW you will have some extra knowledge for trivia night.

Bing Russell (yes Kurt Russell’s dad buys a Northwest League franchise)

it’s on Netflix and stumbled on it. With opening day tickets on my phone and no real start to the season in sight, I’m craving any baseball related movie/documentary/story to pass the time.
Anyone got other baseball movie/documentary recommendations?

Our cable company wants an additional $42.99 for the sports package. I told them I’ll just pull the plug. My wife reminds me we have a sweet high speed internet deal with land line and basic cable. It’s under $100 with taxes and fees

This is the first time I've seen this kind of reaction to a virus, and I've been around awhile. This is media driven. Either through social, or press.
