Gotta give credit to KC for capitalizing on all of our inaction. If Petit started this game, I'm positive it wouldn't be 7-0 right now.

    Edit: 8-0

Haven't been on here in a couple games. Fun game for a Royals fan tonight, but game 7 has a CHANCE to be really one of the all-time great postseason games. Bumgarner out of the pen totally changes things. What an incredible series.

You don't think he'll be starting?

No, Hudson is the announced starter. I think Bumgarner pitches a couple innings at least, especially if they get in trouble.

    It's going to be amazing.

Huh. I thought those were probable and subject to change. Interesting. I just hope KC gets the lead early and fluent let it go once Bumgarner comes in. Should be fun to watch!

Royals were the better team today but tomorrow is a new day and anything can happen as we have seen multiple times already this series.

The Giants have scored a total of 27 points with 57 hits. The Royals have scored a total of 25 points with 51 hits. I'd say it's pretty even.

So glad this is neck and neck so far, a blowout game 7 in early innings would be no fun to watch.

Great game 7 so far, hope it keeps up. Go Giants, and go KC!

Hoping for a Giants victory, but definitely proving interesting because it has yet to turn into a blowout...

Me too, but if I picked a team to beat my Giants it'd be KC. They've played great this series and IF they win, they deserve it, can't get mad about that.

Amazing game. Bumgarner is a fucking hoss.

Great effort KC. Tough night for Royals fans after such a battle.

    MadBum!

Gotta give credit to KC for an amazing series. A most worthy opponent.

Great game, great series, and a worthy champion. SF deserved it, with clutch hitting and Bumgarner.

It still sucks, especially with how it ended. So close to being able to send Gordon home on that error.

    Congrats SF.

I can't help but think that KC beat themselves for the Giants...If they didn't dominate so hard last night, perhaps Bumgarner would have pitched relief which in turn would have limited his number of innings pitched tonight. Bumgarner was possibly the main reason why the Giants maintained their lead and won tonight as several of our hitters were 0-4 for the night.

    Thoughts?

I think for sure Bumgarner won the game for us, our closers have struggled, at the end of the 8th I actually mentioned that I hope he stays for the 9th inning, at least starting it before we throw a closer on the mound. Pitching struggled against the Royals all series, with exception of Bumgarner. With that nightmare of fielding that gave KC that triple in the 9th, there was nobody better suited on the Giants for pitching to Perez. Luckily he was off his batting game tonight, but Bumgarner knew how to pitch to him and it showed with the final out.
