That play by Craig was absolutely embarrassing.

They say practice makes perfect(or permanent) so I wonder how all these extra inning games with player on 2nd will affect different teams’ ability to consistently get them home.

Nice a giants come back win. Nice to see Tauchman finally join the party, he’s had a rough start. Good to see BB back in the lineup.

 

I'm really disappointed that it came from such a high prospect as Hayes. Greg Brown reminded us he's just a rookie. Umm, any little leauger knows you have to touch the base. There is no excuse. Later in the broadcast Brown said the last time this happened was 1971. That's a lot of games and a lot of players who have got it right.

 

the overall embarrassment of this team is enough for them to cancel their season.

 

Players screw up just like anyone else but you can tell a lot about character by how they and their teammates deal with it. Media/social media/ is so much white noise they also need to learn to tune out. Own the mistakes but don’t hang their hats on outside opinions.

 

Oh, I don't know . . . my Royals were back in SUCK mode. Had not had a lead period in 46 innings. Got swept by the almost bottom dwelling Angels even though the Angels were missing key players. We swept the Angels back at the start of the year when they at full strength and playing good. But, Royals beat the As tonight who are in the AL West lead.

If we can get to just playing "decent" on a regular basis, not even great, just decent, I still like our chances but this team is just ON-OFF-ON-OFF and hopefully back ON again. Were number 1 in the AL central, then lost 11 straight, then went like 12-4, then lose 7 of 9.

But, on a ONE game winning streak again . . . woohoo!

This is how I feel as a Mariners fan. A 19 year drought, which will probably be 20 at the end of this season.

According to Spotrac, the Pirates are the 2nd lowest, but when you take look at the actual 26 man roster - those on the field, playing the game right now- the lowest is the Orioles, with the Pirates still sitting 2nd lowest.

The Blue Jays have been a fun watch lately unfortunately they are in a blunder of missed plays that have perpetuated innings and then losses.

Yastrzemski just hit a grand slam in the 8th to finish a comeback win from down 7-0 to 9-8.
