Welp, Dodgers won and claim 11th NL West title in 12 years.

We've all seen this movie before. And, we all know what happens next.

Sucks to see Freddie get injured like that right before the playoffs. Hope it's nothing more than a low grade sprain, but it didn't look good with him in a boot and on crutches.

 

I know, right?

Freddie didn't have to run out of the first base line...

I think he felt like he had to show he was making the effort...the rest of the team was showing how much they wanted this win.

But trying too hard can come back and bite anyone.

Hopefully, he sits out the next 3 games and elevates/ices his ankle and gets ready for the playoffs.

 

A lot of money to get that but at least it was well spent. No guarantees post season though. It’s all lightning in a bottle from here on.

Big City Teams have lots of money...this is not new.

I don't pay to go to their games...since I live on the east coast.

But early on, I did sit in nose bleed sections to watch games in the mid 1970s.

Winning is all about heart...and I hope the Dodgers have heart to win another WS.

Now, it's time to prove it in the Post Season.

It's an interesting Wild Card 3-day event!

Today are Games 2 of 3.

I'm surprised with the Padres getting that first win...Atlanta is not a pushover.

Mets blew out the fuse on the Brewers.

I'm rooting for the Orioles but they lost G1.

Looks like Detroit just knocked out the Astros and now face the Guardians. Wow!!!

 

Found it funny how the padre fans were chanting “beat LA” yesterday, while playing the Braves.

They definitely seem to be the better team, but geeze, at least wait to advance lol

Padres have a score to settle with the Dodgers...I guess.

How they matched up in the regular season is almost irrelevant in the Playoffs.

If the Braves are to win and extend...they have to score early...being patient for their pitch selection.

It's a mind game between the pitcher/hitter...such a thrilling part of the game!
