Sad news today...Fernando Valenzuela has passed away at the age of 63.

 

I've been reviewing Valenzuela's first year/historic career in Los Angeles.

"His unforgettable year included winning the NL Rookie of the Year, Cy Young Award & a World Series title. "

The Dodgers last beat the Yankees in a WS in 1981.

 

Welp,

Dodgers finally announced their starting pitcher for G1.

Should be interesting to see who is selected for Saturday's game...I'm thinking, depends if Dodgers win G1.

Good morning Baseball Fans.

 

As a life long Giants fan all I have to say is GO YANKEES!

 

Just woke up from 1.5hr nap...I did early voting at 3pm today and waited almost an hour before complete.

Getting ready for G1 at local Grottos...definitely getting there an hour before game-time.

Good luck to both teams!!!

I suspect a very different outcome in G2.

Both Teams/Managers have gathered their experiences and probably feel fortunate with their decision...up until that last one by NY.

We fans question just about everything the game produces...particularly when the stakes are the highest.

There are star players on both teams who are given the chance to shine; there's also a supporting cast on both teams that have the same chance.
