Dodgers were able to prevent a sweep in St Louis--thank Goodness!!!

 

I'm a die hard Cardinals fan, so I was hoping for a sweep.
Going into this season, with how young the Cardinals are, I thought they would be doing good just to have a winning season. I've been pleasantly surprised, they have been exceeding my expectations.

 

Giants sweep of the Braves makes 5-straight.

 

The lady is a Braves fan, so we went to Friday and Sunday's games. She also said, after interrupting the radio broadcast during the second-to-last at bat in Saturday's game that "it's not like it matters. The Braves are going to win anyway."

We (Giants) moved into sole possession of 2nd place behind the Dodgers as a result of that game. However, even moving into sole possession of second we dropped a 1/2 game further behind the Dodgers.

5 straight wins for us, feels like we did it with smoke and mirrors. I don't think we can keep it up.

 

Giants need to score more to support their strong pitching. It would be nice if Adames would hit like we know he can.

 

I was excited when we picked him up. So far it is his worst year in the show. His hitting is atrocious and he has mental lapses in the field blowing routine plays. I wish he would goof around with his teammates less and focus more on the game.
