I'm still pissed about Tulo so purple and black has been banned for the remainder of the season because of the Tulo trade. But the lemonade is that he's in the AL now and the BJs play the Mariners more often so I can go see him play more often than once every few years when when the NL West comes to town.

...lastly...get to hit Wrigley Field on in about 3 weeks while I'm in Chicago for work. What a good thing to do other than swing over to a ball game after a series of meetings and presentations for a day! Gonna be my first time to Wrigley.

The Cubs might keep the Giants out of the second WC spot. They're doing very well considering they are in a division with two of the best teams.

 

Pirates win 5-4 in 10 innings against the Dodgers and end Kershaw's scoreless pitched inning streak!Still don't understand why ESPN was supposed to air the game and it wasn't telivised!

I only caught the first few innings of the Jays game but it looks like Dickey showed up today. Good. We need him throwing the knuckle ball at his best if we want to catch the Yanks. It's also good to see Batista hitting some homers in the last few games when they matter rather then when it's convenient to pad his stats. Winning in that park hasn't been easy for the Jays. It's good to see them pick up the win.

 

I agree Cubs are for real. Giants are a bat and a starter away from being strong. Injuries happen and Panik going down sucks but he's not the weak link. Pagan is a huge weak link as well as Cain and #4/5 starter are.

Having said that I'm really excited for the Cubs. I went Wrigley 5 years ago and absolutely fell in love with the team. Although I'm a Giants fan I'm a baseball fan before all of it.
