Bonds was great without roids. He was the greatest of all time with roids.

There's no doubting that roids improve a hitter's bat speed. This turns fly outs into home runs and drastically improves ability to hit pitches on the outside part of the plate.

I'm not even a Bonds hater, and I believe he belongs in the Hall.

You should send a thank you note to Dusty Baker. He screwed up big time to lose Game 6.

I disagree. Baker pissed and moaned about racism in baseball after the Nats hired Bud Black. Then, out of nowhere, Black 'decides' NOT to take the job, and suddenly Baker has a job in DC. Very odd.

I'm not saying he's some super manager, and yes, we'll see how he does in DC. Any manager worth his salt would have that club in at least a WC slot, barring injuries, but Dusty isn't the reason SF was out-hit by the Angels and lost the series.

Giants were leading Game 6 when Baker pulled the starter in favor of injured relief corp, and in succession, gave away the series. Huge momentum change for Angels.

The Angels got two quick singles off Ortiz that inning. Baker put in a well-rested Felix Rodriguez, who had only thrown four pitches in the game two days earlier. He gave up a three run homer to Spezio. Tim Worrell and Rob Nen in combination with a Bonds error allowed three runs the next inning. Worrell was on two days rest and Nen was on three, and those two guys were probably the best combo in the league that year.

The Angels' frenzy hitting beat the Giants in that game and in the series. Dusty didn't give anything away. Had he stuck with Ortiz, he probably would have had a Grady-Little-Pedro-Martinez 2003 ALCS type situation.
