Since it happens so infrequently as of late I will cheer a Giants win. I couldn't bare to watch, however. Once Bumgarner gave up the Granny I switched to the Olympics. Actually, my wife demanded I switch. She didn't want to hear me bitch. Anyway, the Giants pulled off a comeback, with some atonement from Baumgarner with a two run bomb of his own. Still, pretty shaky pitching from a team that has prided itself on it's pitching for some time.

1/2 game back of the stinking Doyers.

 

Let's go Reds! Well...maybe we'll have a team in contention in 2018...d'oh!

I really thought they were gonna fold but they have stuck around so far. It's good to see. You're correct if the pitching can turn it around look out. I really believe this is when baseball season starts.Pennant races and summer!

I am sick of this 2nd half bullshit spree for the giants! It happens every year post allstar break. I only hope that we get within 3 games by the 28th and go on a huge winning streak throughout september. Maximum effort fellas!

Well, one little ray of sunshine breaks through. Matt Moore finally gets his first win as a Giant. Goes 8 2/3rds and gives up one hit. A lousy jam job that Pederson dinks into short right field. Too bad. Still, nice game.

 

Pittsburgh Pirates sweep the Milwaukee Brewers!Win all 4 and that's unheard of if your a Pirates fan like myself!Let's Go Bucs!

Still plenty of games left to grab another wild card playoff spot!C'mon Pittsburgh!

Wow, that NL is pretty brutal. How can a team be around 15 games back but still a contender for a wc slot. Mind-boggling lol

 

Jays come back on the Twins to take another game. They just have to keep this up for a few more months! Lots of games against the teams chasing them too.
