Yeah hopefully about how to not be embarrassed by the satellite team going forward. What I saw was racing.

    Get your bets in Gentleman.

    1. Jack Miller
    2. Vinales
    3. Quatararo

I'll tell you why I'm going with Miller. He's said openly how much fun the sprint was. He knows tire management. And he's not going to go crazy getting passed on lap 23 of 25. He showed real confidence today. Long shot, Olivera.

Best words so far. Say it Brittish like the commentators,"There will be racing now till November." Yeeeaah! Crafar says they use half sized tanks for a half sized race. Spare no expense.

Marquez out for at least one race. Get's a double long lap penalty for his next race. Oliviera cleared to race. Couple racers calling for Marquez to be banned.

I had a feeling he was going to try to override the bike after the sprint podium.

His ambition outweighs not only his talent, but also his bike's capabilities.

Espargaro out. Fernandez out. Oliveira out. Marquez out. I think that brings this weekends grid down to 17 riders already?

Would not have predicted that sprint race in 1k years. Props to FM21. I guess that short frame is working.

Marquez still out. Oliveira swears he will race. Anyone going to COTA? I would love to but they don't offer air, ticket, room and ride packages.

I usually go every year, but I'm sitting this one out in favor of a Laguna Seca track day in July and Alaska vacation in Sept.

Make sure if you do Laguna Seca you run stock exhaust. I've done a total of 5 laps of Laguna and got black flagged for having to loud of exhaust and lost $300.

It will be a 103dB day. I should be fine, but I'm probably going to pick up a used slip on that's quieter than my SC Project CRT just to be safe.

Wow! 9 riders down at COTA. I'm thinking it's time to repave the track or riders will boycott.

As long as F1 races at COTA, the surface will be an issue for GP riders.

Race was pretty boring apart from the unplanned dismounts. Wonder if Rins actually shaved his head this time.

Well things got kinda quiet in here...

The 2024 season is about to kick off and I'm sure we're all looking forward to it. There's been a lot of hype with MM93 getting on a Ducati and plenty of peeps who think Marc is gonna go back to smoking everyone on the grid.

Got any bold predictions or personal favorites for the new season?

I'd like to think Martin has grown up a bit and can do the damn thing, but sometimes he opens his mouth and makes me wonder. Either way, I'm kinda an underdog guy. So I'd like to see Martin put it together this year.

Seeing Fabio DiGiannantonio getting it together late last season was great. I hope his success continues. I'd like to see him top 5 or 6 overall.

As for Marc, as always, I hope he stops crashing and getting hurt. Not sure I expect him to finish in the top 5 this year. Another championship...? Unlikely in my book. But never say never.

Bagnaia seems to be the favorite still. The bike has improved and he has great feel on it. We shall see.

    The countdown is on

Definately renewed my MotoGP sub. Right there with you on MM93 and Fabio DG. Hope it's a good season and nobody gets seriously injured. Also interested in the principals of the Trackhouse team. American team eager to see more MotoGP in the US. To the point where the guy said he'd build his own MotoGP track to attract another US race and wants to put US racers back on the grid.

From what I understand, Trackhouse has been a force to be reckoned with in NASCAR after coming onto the scene not too long ago. I can only hope they approach MotoGP with the same ferocity. The addition of Davide Brivio shows they're not here to fuck around. I hope it translates into results so I can wrap the Tuono in a Trackhouse livery lol.

Well, first sprint race in the books. Safe and pretty uneventful. Honda and Yamaha, feeling real bad for you.
