Vinales to race Aprilia immediately-

From MotoGP news-After two successful test days at Misano this week, Aprilia Racing Team Gresini have confirmed that Maverick Viñales will race for them for the remainder of 2021, starting at the upcoming Aragon GP.

 

This weekend. Speculations?

 

I'd like to see the Suzuki's do well again there this year, but who knows with MM93 being there. Also, as much as I don't care for Vinales, I'd like to see him do well on the Aprilia. He was fast during all practice sessions last year, but those were different times.

On a separate note, anyone else heading to COTA?

 

Can’t believe I haven’t seen this thread before, subbed!

I’ll be rooting for Rins. I’d like to see him turn his season around. And I’d like to see vinales top all the Yamaha’s, just for fun.

 

I wanted to go to COTA but they are selling tickets and no packages. I want tickets, hotel, air and no covid. I'll be watching MM93. He's been really fast but his aggression is getting the better of him. Trading paint and scaring other riders used to work for him. He and Rins have taken the most recent wins but my boy Quartararo is on one helluva streak. But there's always a really, really good chance that a Ducati, KTM or Aprilia may upset the predictions. Because the second half of the season is when guys come out of nowhere to get a win and try to keep their job. Isn't Dovi supposed to jump on a Yamaha this race too?

 

Martin has impressed me with so little race time on the gp machine. I think I saw Jake Dixon is getting a second go around before dovi steps in to finish the season. Is Pedosa wild carding the ktm?

 

Well my hopes and dreams of rins and vinales doing well are pretty much scrapped.

 

F@cking great race! Pecco was the man, held on to it till the end and didn't visibly let MM93 bother him even with all the relentless passing. I think the last couple races is going to show Marquez come back. Vinales did pretty much what I thought he was going to do. Poor Rossi, he was so far back I forgot he was in the race. And we have another one coming up this weekend!

 

This could have seriously fun repercussions! Welcome back Dovi.

In any case, as much as I dislike vinales and asparagus, I’m happy to see aprilia finally getting some kind of validation—even if it was in those circumstances.

Anybody make it to Austin? MotoGP guys not happy with the track conditions being too bumpy.

 

I was there. They complain about the track surface every year. From what I've heard, when they build in that area, they have to let the ground settle for a period of years because of the soil and that didnt happen. Combined with the fact that formula one is really hard on the asphalt.
