My bold prediction is that Rins will defend and take it again. This is a very flow'y track that suits the Suzuki well as corner speed and tire treatment are their strong points. Their power seems to have only improved over the last couple of years as well.

    1. AR42
    2. FQ20
    3. MM93

Edit: I'll also go out on a limb and say both Aprilias finish in the top 7.

Y'all's throwing out names for the podium before a tire even touches the track.... Damn. Haha

Not a lot of consistency between fp1 and 2. Miller and Quartararo both staying in the top 4. I expect things to change by the end of FP4 and Qualifying.

Well Mister Grey, you may be onto something here. Ducati takes the top 5 positions on the Q2 grid. Your predictions are aging well thus far.

Someone must have airmailed Martin his lucky rabbits foot right in time for Qualifying. Dude struggles in the back half of the times through all the practice sessions and then starts handing out black eyes and hurting feelings at Qualifying. Nuts...

I just don't think MM93 and FQ20 are gonna put it up there tomorrow, so I'm going Ducs all 3 as well.

    Bagnaia 4
    Bastianini 3
    Martin 3

Kind of a hard decision between Miller and Martin, as Miller was more consistent all weekend while Martin wasn't. Every time I pick Miller, he doesn't cut it and when I don't, he does. Haha

Side bet: Does a Yamaha dnf due to mechanical. (It's pretty much a 50/50 :annoyed:) I'm saying No for this one. lol

That was a really fun race to watch. Lots going on, some good battles, Zarco going backwards so fast his vacuum sucked Martin back with him. lol...

Marquez rode a really good race although he's lucky he didn't have any contact with anyone when he went way too hot into that corner. Sucks for him that he had issues on the start. Looking forward to hearing why that happened.

Rins Rins Rins. Not sure why I let some quick laps in Q2 sway my early prediction of Rins being strong at COTA, but I did. Stupid.

Miller, you're welcome. As I said, had I put points on you, you would not have made podium. Since I didn't, you did. I was regretting that decision the moment I made it and knew better. More stupid.

Looks like COTA still has some bumps in it but better than before.

Marquez passing Quartararo sure seemed to light a fire in Quartararo. Made for some good back and forth action. I'll give Fabio credit, he's riding that M1 for all it's worth. Dovi and Morbidelli may do better if they'd just go buy a new R1 and have Graves mod their bikes out. :facepalm:j/k-ish...

And in MA news, Petrucci double nails it at COTA. Good for him. Hopefully he picks up the new to him tracks quickly.

Great shot! And Kudos to Miller for flying the #69 flag on the cool down lap in honor of Nicky Hayden.

This is the only good thing about Morbidelli this season. Last year was the knee. This year? So now we know where Petruc has been. My predictions all went out the window. Really wish Miller could keep the tires sticky the whole race. He deserves a win.

    Great race to watch!

Marquez had a great ride, but I'm so sick of Dorna trying to shove his dick down everyone's throat. At one point they said he almost podiumed? Not sure what race they were watching. I'm much more interested in watching the rookie battle for the race and championship lead than I am to see MM93 dive bombing people into turn 1. Don't forget to get the obligatory shots of all his dad's reactions in the pitbox.

I'm glad we got to finally see the battle between MM93 and FQ20 that we were robbed of when MM93 got hurt, even if it wasn't for a win or podium for that matter. FQ20 rode the piss out of that bike.

I knew both Suzukis would be strong, but they gotta sort out their starts. Rins rode a fantastic race and I think had he gotten a better start maybe he woulda been battling for a win.

The Moto3 race was also super exciting to watch.

Props to these guys. MotoGP FP3 in the wet. I wouldn't even ride my dirtbike in those conditions. It's spitting.

It's always questionable when the rain is off and on or just sprinkles. A few of my favorite days on tracks were rain days with rain tires. Barber Motorsports Park, specifically.

    Shoot your shot:

    Mir 4
    Miller 3
    Olivera 3

Aaaand, since I put points on Miller, he won't produce. Take that to the bank.

Again, not a lot of consistency amongst the riders, keeps it interesting. I expect Olivera to do well on his home turf even though his Q2 was rough.

I haven't watched the race yet, but have seen the results. I'll catch it tonight.

Boy do I need to start checking the weather forecast for the city they're racing in before placing bets

    Fuckin Miller.... :annoyed:

Yeah Miller and Mir were both braking hard into T1. Once Miller introduced a little lean angle the front tire had nothing left to offer. :notsure:

It was a great race. I was gone last 2 days and haven't watched qualifying other than FP3 that I caught 10 mins of so I didn't do predictions. I'll say one thing, it is really weird to see some do so great at one track to just disappear on the grid at another. Feelz bad for Martin with another DNF.
