Any news on tailgate cb antenna mount?

I just bought 2 a while back. They said they stiffened them up. Well I was in the parking lot I stalling one and it chopped my paint. I tried grinding them down to help it. That didn't do anything. Now I have to go and get touch up paint. These things are useless. I've asked for my money back. Will see what they say. I am thinking of getting the rear bumper but if I don't get a refund for the 2 I bought I'll go somewhere else. @C4 Fabrication
These things looked good but once I closed the tailgate I was posses to see the paint coming off. I'll let u guys know what they say or do.

 

That's how I was setting up my light. But am upset that my tailgate is scratched. And in no way was I told about these before I bought them. Paid for them.on fed.13th 2017.

 

Did you use self tappers or bolts to mount it there?

 

Im using a C4 mount. Works great but i think its discontinued..

 

Do not like. There is no way to build those brackets strong enough so they will not flex and contact the vehicle. Better off building an inside corner brake using the bed rail.

 

I drilled holes and used nuts on the back side. Easy access once ya take the tailight out.

 

Looking at buying one of the C4 mounts if anyone still has one for sale. Thank you.
