So I'm wondering if I can get glass fenders up front to replace the one thats got folded in half and have insurance pay for it. How does this all work....do I get 2 new headlights or just 1? Should I get a sport hood or keep the OR hood?

I believe that depends on the shop. But I'm pretty sure that you can take the money that insurance gives you and out that towards the glass.
    I'd get the sport hood

Think insurance will fix the dent in the door too? I'm sorry. It's too soon for jokes

Dang man. I take it you hit the flat bed? Otherwise I'd think there would be a little less damage. Who is at fault? If someone else then it's actually pretty easy to get upgrades because you can get cash. You can also get insurance money for it now being depreciated from the wreck

With both. I spent 5 years in the used car business here in Tulsa. They are both good. I would start with Hourglass.

Like Mason said though. Usually you get 2-3 estimates on repair and the insurance company will sometimes cut you a check and you can choose to repair it yourself. I have done this with hail damage and just pocketed the $$$$. You cannot make a 2nd claim on the initial hail damage if you can't show a repair receipt for the first payout damage repair. - FYI (for instance)

So if you do choose to fix it you can! Just might find out about frame damage with the estimates which they will probably tell you during their estimate.

Well i was heading down 71st street when i saw a 4runner on the other side hit ice and smash into a wall and nearly flip over, i pulled over into the turn lane in the median when a car in the other lane lock up his breaks causing a big ass dodge 3500 with a flat bed to swerve to miss him. as the didge swerved he hit ice and was pretty much coming streight at me, i threw it in reverse and he clipped my front passenger side and his flat bed ripped that headlight hoop off. the didge then bounced off me and hit a black silverado nearly head on and totaled the chevy. So the dodge was at fault from my guess since it loked like he was getting a citation. While talking to the guy i the dodge he said he was going somewhere between 35 and 45 when he first hit me.

See my only concern is that it needs to be towed to the body shop, i dont want to drive it since the fan and radiator are both bent and pushed back into the engine.

Check with you insurance company. They might possibly send an estimator to you. They may send a couple of body shops as well. You'll just have to ask and you might be able to request certain shops. I just don't know how things work since this was 10 years ago. Know they have laptops with the type of damage and type of car that can spit out an estimate in no time.

I got hit on I40 near OKC last summer. They sent the adjuster to me, and the body shop I used (Xclusive in Yukon) went above and beyond. My radiator got a rock stuck in it (spewed coolant, basically rendered it undrivable) between the accident and the body work...they went ahead and replaced it. My unefffected headlight was a bit hazy so they threw in a new one. My front bumper was broken when I bought it and they replaced it! They definitely did right by me. Sucked being in a rental car (paid for by other guys insurance) forever but it was worth it. In total it was around $8.5k I think in damages for me.

Glad you're alright and hope those who needed the ambulance recover quickly.

Yeah I'm hoping the replace both headlights and let me get glass fenders up front. I'm guessing about 5k in damage for mine. Hopefully not much more. I drove it home but don't want to risk anything happening to it while I'm driving. I'm thinking that the guy who got taken off in the ambulance wasn't wearing his seat belt when he got in the wreck.
