Well, looks like I popped into an Ohio thread at the right time. I was in Ohio for a few days this week, and noticed there was almost NO activity. Seemed kind of strange for such a hilly and pretty state. So I got things started, and no it's happening. Got this [not so] private message:
    "
    Hey man,

Just wanted to thank you for showing some interest in our Ohio wheelin situation!
When I joined TW first thing I did was to post in the Ohio threads, problem is they seemed pretty much dead and I never heard anything back. Looks like you happened upon the right time to stir up some interest. I really appreciate that. Hopefully I can get some meet-ups going in the near future, anytime you're up here please join us! I'll look you up next time I drive through Oklahoma buddy.
    "

I was in Cleveland today (they got softball size hail) and there were vehicle hail damage and roofing contractors lining the highway in pop-up tents and trucks hawking their business....crazy. But, a friend had the "Dent Dude" do his truck and wife's ride for 1/2 the price a shop quoted, and he's real happy with results.

For low SWR I'd recommend a location on the frame.

Need some help gents: I'm trying to install a brake light strobe for the 3rd break light, I make frequent stops while I'm at work, and better visibility is a must, I think next month I'm going to install Amber color EMS strobe lights into the taillight and headlights. But my question is where could I access the 3rd break light wiring? Removing the 3rd brake light itself isn't an option. It has a 3M weather stripping adhered to the truck, so removing the light is would damage it. I removed the Driver side A-Pillar, and there are two harnesses, but it seems as though those wires aren't the break light. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

I'd try dropping the headliner. Wire's gotta be in there somewhere

I think that the third brake light harness runs along the cab and rear window under the headliner, to the passenger side rear "wall" and down to the floor. I don't know where it terminates near the front of the cab though.

Then how would I do that? I've never removed that before. I know how to remove the A, B pillars, the C (D?) pillar seems like a pain to remove. I never removed that rear one before.

Perhaps it could be this harness? It's the rear driver side door. I opened the flex tubing and it's has about 6 different wires. Where could they be connected to at the rear of the truck? See photo. Thx.

****Edit:found a write up on headliner removal. And traced the break light wire to the front kick panel, red/white wired. Thanks!****
