Today i've started to flush my wife's Jeep (new water pump, radiator, and fan goin in), but now I see she has her keys with her in my truck. Is there a way to flush the system without running the vehicle? I'd like to get this done quickly...

Also, if the radiator has a hole in it, should I flush it as well as I can with the hole, then replace the radiator, and flush again before installing the new water pump? Or will it sufficiently flush with a big hole in the radiator?

If you are replacing those components, you have pretty much flushed the system. Just stick a hose on the block and blow it out.

Well, everything i've read said flush it first. Then replace the parts, to ensure there's no gunk running through the new parts. I drained it, filled it with water, then realized she had the keys.

I did something very similar on my FJ in a day, with those coils being so big and tight I would suggest that you take the assembly to a local tire shop and have them mount them up for you to the struts.

I've had the coils out before installing the 5100s and didn't take too long. But I was also wondering about the coil length until Shane said he did his 887s the same way.

I did mine the stupid way. Was 7 o'clock and the parts store sent the wrong part. So I put a jack under the Lca. Compressed the stock shock a little bit. Unbolted the outside of the Lca. And slowly lowered the jack. To put the new coil and shock on I simply reversed the process. I wouldn't recommend this but it can be done this way. It's incredibly dangerous and we had to do it. The coil started picking up the front of my truck right as we got it bolted back together. And I have a plate bumper. Winch. Sliders. Skids. I just wanna say you can do it yourself. Would definitely recommend a professional compressing them but in a worst case scenario. It can be dine

Good time to buy into oil with it being this low it'll have to go up soon. Looks tempting..
