Yeah, especially since Bridgestone does not develop KO2's

I HAVE HAD VIBRATION ISSUES, TIRE TECH DETERMINED ONE TIRE WAS OUT OF ROUND, BF REPLACED IT. STILL HAVE MINIMAL VIBRATIONS AFTER A HUNTER GROUND FORCE AT CANADIAN TIRE BUT A LOT BETTER. THESE KO2'S ARE MY FIRST BF PRODUCT, GOING TO BE MY LAST. ALWAYS BEEN A GOODYEAR FAN, I STILL RUN STUDDED GY DURATRACS WITH NO VIBRATION ISSUES. I THINK THE QUALITY CONTROL IS POOR ON THE BF KO2, SUCH A HIGH DEMAND FOR THESE TIRES.

interesting reading all of the responses .

i had my tires put on at Discount Tire, and they didnt make a huge effort to balance them

in lieu - they just put some small sticky weights on the inside of my rims to resolve the issue....

it rides totally fine and hey are wearing relatively well with only 3,000 miles on them

    thoughts?

I'm on my second set of KO2's, on 2 different Toyotas, on set was 32x11.5x15 on a 1991 4runner SR5, and the current set is 265/70/17 on my 2017 Tacoma. Both sets from the same dealer, both greatly improved every aspect of my trucks other than losing some power from the larger tires.
    I'm glad I didn't get stuck with a shitty set. :)

Ive had 2 shitty sets. My tires are still not balanced right. Ive even had Schwab do it because discount couldn't get it right. Schwab got it closer to spec. And I'm done messing with it. 4-5 rebalances and 2-3 tires replaced twice..
I'm getting different tires as soon as I can. I hate this vibe! plus these tires are not the greatest in snow.
Thinking about going with the new Ridge Grapplers or similar tire....

30,000 miles on mine and had to have them rebalanced today. Discount tire said they weren't far off spec, but they sure werent perfect. that was the first time balancing them since they were put on 30,000 miles ago

    2017 Tacoma OR 4x4 (formerly 2002 OR 4x4, 1995 4x4 4Runner, 1985 4x4 Toy PU) ... and RIP’s (rust in pieces) to a Bronco II 4x4 & S10 Blazer 4x4
I never had this problem driving with 600K+ miles worth of BFG KO’s and KO2’s, but even slightly out of round tires can get in “sync” with each other and either cancel or compound the shaking. To test, note the valve positions and do some slow sharp turns to change how the tires sync with each other (different valve positions than before) and try driving a bit. some shops can “shave” tires to make them round if it’s that bad.

    lots to come...
I just had this happen - The lead tech at Discount that knows his stuff informed me that all they align with now is the cone, and that the AT tires ofen need a manual balance, not the automated recommendation. He did his thing, not a single issue to speak of. This was with 285/75/16 ko2s.

    stuff
They need to dynamic balance the tires with both nail on weights and sticky weights. They sometimes try to shortcut and it causes balance issues.
