I saw that they have a cat shield that looks kinda like the Cali Raised one. It keeps the transmission and the front zirk fitting serviceable. Has anyone installed one? And if so have y'all had any issues? IIRC the first batch of Cali Raised ones had some QC issues and I was hoping to avoid that as returning stuff is a giant PITA for me

Sorry to bump an older thread but wonder if anyone else with manual transmission is running this product? Price is reasonable and there's an actual option for the manual transmissions, as opposed to the Cali Raised. I do like how the tranny and zerks are open and serviceable, and offers entire coverage of the passenger side cat. Not looking for bulletproof, but want something to discourage and deter. Anyone out there? Thank you!

I have RCI full aluminum skids and bought their cat guards…..now they give them away.

No worries. Appreciate any feedback, thank you. I think rci makes them for manual Tacomas too.

It helps if you have the whole skid plate set up, then there like a bolt on wing.

ideally anything can be stolen, you just want yours to be enough of a pita where they’d move on.

I ended up ordering the Cali Raised and they work well enough it seems on the MT. Its not entirely covered up on the passenger side but it would still be a pain to take it. Driver's side coverage is the same. I just did the manual transmission fluid change yesterday and I tore the box the gear oil came in to make a little slide to ensure that the shield isn't soaked in MT fluid. It wasn't until I had it on the lift to do the change that I realized that that might still be an issue

Anything in particular with you are unhappy with? Any rubbing, noises, vibration, noticeable heat retention, etc? Thanks.

I just ordered the All Pro ones. I have the Cali raised ones now. I have the first batch of the Cali raised and they never really fit perfect. The all pro’s seem to have a little more coverage too.

Nope, they've been great. I think there was some issues with the QC on the first batches but anything ordered now should be fine.
