I realized my server went down a while ago and haven't gotten around to addressing it till now. Here's is what chronologically happened:

    1. I get to work and attempt to access my webpage on the server (WordPress) nothing
    2. Get home and do a trace route

    trace route www.mikenhiroko.com
trace route to mikenhiroko.dyndns-server.com (71.202.234.53), 64 hops max, 52 byte packets
    1 *

    3. I check my Dyn-DNS account to make sure it is good to go...everything seems fine
    4. Check Go Daddy...good to go
    5. I notice I can not access the server locally on WiFi with my Iphone (Server Admin App). This leads me to believe that the server suspect.
    6. Check the logs and I see this:
    Jun 9 19:06:03 mikenhiro org.apache.httpd[2208]: Syntax error on line 13 of /etc/apache2/proxy_sites/0000_any_443_www.mikenhiroko.com.conf:

Additionally I get another message that states the server has crashed.

This is where I am stuck, I have built everything with this system from media hosting web sites and VPNs, I have no clue how to diagnose!

Later tonight I did attempted to install admin tools but it would not allow me to on any disk (even with the 100mb FAT storage device) after reading the OS X server guide. I looks like the admin tools is more for hardware anyway's...don't think this is my problem.

Where do I start? I have been reading the OS X Guide but maybe need some direction on what I should be using for tools or troubleshooting.

What is on/around line 13 of that file that is giving an error in the logs?

You know I am not sure, I havent dug into those files. The example I posted is one of many errors so I am not sure I can just go and manually fix it.

I think I might have to break down and take it to the genius bar.

I would think that if you're getting errors like that, the problem is in the apache config and not really OS X server. I've had something similar happen when there were config changes made but Apache wasn't restarted. Then a few weeks down the road Apache locked up and tried to restart, leading to a dead server.
