^^ paintball use to be way better back in the day. Now everyone ramps and not as many ppl play anymore but I still love playing the sport whenever i got the time and $$

Yeah both types of guns have completely different feels to them. Go with whatever you feel more comfortable with. But if you do get the etek 2 you won't be disappointed :D

I quit playing more because 90% of the guys out there playing were the biggest dicks I've ever met. They made it not fun. Yea, I got it.. your Ego and DM3 (it's been a while) was better than my stock Shocker. Just play and have fun. No, all I got was "you really need to learn how to speedball" or always stacking the team and have me playing with Spyders and Tippmanns against ramping assholes.

Yea I am bitter. I'll only play with friends locally and not on fields. Not worth the money wasted at a park. And every park I've been to has these people.

I know where your coming from it sucks when your getting 16bps shot at you from every angle especially when your team is full of renters that offer no help. The field i play at usually will split the teams evenly or if there is enough people with their own equipment let us play separately from the renters which is good cuz who likes getting bonus balled their first time out. I have to agree that there are a lot more dicks than before but there's still some pretty cool ppl that play

That is a big part of the reason I'm switching to an electro. Being an adult, I'm usually the one standing between the punk ass kids with the tournament guns and the renters. If I see one of those fools ramping or bonus balling on a kid with a 98, it's game on. These dicks are usually buddies with the refs, so alot of it gets overlooked. And yeah, my beater Ion got laughed at a few times.

Do it! You won't regret getting an Etek; I love mine!! Plant Eclipse also came out with a new gun called Etha. Haven't had time to check out any reviews but it runs about $400 so I'm sure it's worth consideration.
