Just get it. C'mon, you know you want to. It's like a tri-fold bakflip, but only $600.

Thanks Captain. Any dealers in central Tx have a clue on ordering? Dealers near New Braunfels are clueless

Call my guy here in Austin. I have a DCLB TRD Sport (LOADED) on order right now. He can hook you up cheaper than San Marcos Toyota ever could. They have their own inventory manager who can magically convert allocations into custom builds, too.

Just tell Nassir that the Captain sent you. ;)

If you mind sharing, what was included in the Loaded Sport, and what kind of price are you looking at?

EVERYTHING except 4x4 (don't need it - 99% on road). All the electronic safety stuff, Entune, moonroof, towing (standard now), JBL noisemaker, etc. Final price not quite locked in because I'm waiting on USAA/TrueCar to figure out what that's going to be for the 2016s.

I am on the plain side. TRD sport DCSB V6 auto with a tow package and tonneau cover. I never use the 4WD on the 2011 DCSB Tacoma that I own now with over 400K miles

It was shown in one of the videos in the reviews thread. Don't ask me which one. They all blurred together after a while. Had TACOMA stamped in the center near the tailgate. Different than the one shown above.

Maybe I'm wrong......It doesn't look like it keeps the tailgate from being opened..doesnt drop over the tailgate...if so, it's useless. Doesn't keep the tailgate from being opened like other covers...

new integrated tailgate lock should remedy the access issue. I just need something to cover minor stuff when traveling.

Nice! Thanks for the video!! I was wondering if you could remove it completely. As for the tailgate thing...yea, you gotta lock both the tailgate and the cover. Even if its not the same as the video, I'm almost certain they'd keep the same functionality.

I had a tri-fold soft cover and loved it. But after 7 years, the vinyl got dry rotted and started to crack. I wanted something that has the exact same functionality as the soft cover in a longer lasting hard cover and lockable too.
