Anyone live near Dunnellon/Crystal River and know of any areas that are open for driving around the canal/lake area in Dunnellon/ south of the state forest?

Im in levy, I usually ride the gravel roads with my wife on the weekdays in Goethe. There are signs on the small roads explaining where you are not allowed. The trails go for a while, dumping you off 337 and other roads around. Occasional mud slick off the roads and mostly soft sand that is fun to drift in. I dont go very often for wheeling, but usually just take my dogs to go see this enormous cypress tree named "The Goethe Giant".
