Any plans for ucon being made available for first gens

Just curious if anyone knows wether or not gadget (urd) plans on releasing a ucon compatible for the first gen v6. I'd like to get a piggy back for mine since I can't go full standalone thanks to the good old EPA. I feel with the amount of stuff I'm adding I'll be losing a lot of power due to the limiting stock ecu.
I'd like the latest and greatest. But if there is no plans for it I'll just stick with the split second unit

 

Seeing as how it took him the better part of 6 years to get the 2009+ UCON harness going, I wouldn't hold your breath

 

I figure so much but it doesn't hurt to ask. There's almost no choices for the 1st gems that I can find. Other than unichips

My friend used a megasquirt on his first gen. I don't know much about it, but that's what he did.

 

I'd go standalone if there's a way to trick the obd2 systems since I have to do that damn clean air check every 2 years. I don't know how to go about putting a standalone in and passing emissions
