Those of you with 16" wheels... what tires are you running currently and what are your thoughts? I see a few Falken WPs and maybe a Toyo? Am on the fence between the two.
    And are you stock suspension?

My suspension is bone stock, it took several thousand miles to settle in where the ride is ok. I've had 265 70 16 goodyear adventure w/kevlar a/t tires on my truck pretty much from the start. Been fine for my needs...seem a decent all around tire.

Bilstein 5100 with OME-885 springs (~2” up front) and 1.5” tapered lift blocks were required to stop driveshaft vibes. ECGS bushing was required. Stock control arms. No rubbing.

Borla exhaust and K&N cold air system makes it rumble nice.

Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT are quite and smooth on the highway. I had the Wildpeaks but after 40K miles they got really loud when the siping was worn-out.

265/75r16, 265/70r17 or 255/80r16 is the biggest you can run on a stock Tacoma.

I wouldn't want to....its gotta be real close. You'd need a wider wheel to mount that tire on.

A shoutout to my Quicksand brothers out there. I'm glad they discontinued our colour. Makes us much more valuable down the road.

Ninety nine percent of my driving will be interstate back and forth to work every day so I went with a more highway-oriented tire. Plus they were cheaper.

Not certain as I have not tested it myself. Going by the gauge/chart/calculator that I found online, if my speedometer shows 80-mph I am actually going 83.1-mph. As far as gas mileage goes, I've never even measured it. I figure that I'm going to have to have gas either way so why bother measuring it. I don't mean to appear cavalier about the price of gas (it's expensive) but a mile or two more or less per gallon really doesn't matter much to me.
    Here's the chart:
