Any reason to wait for 2018 models to hit dealerships over buying 2017 now?

I "built" a 2017 Tacoma earlier, and the remote locking tailgate is now an option.

TRD supercharger will come as standard equipment on both 4cyl and 6cyl. 2018 will be a magical year.

You actually only pay sales tax on the difference paid. Unless its different outside of Texas.

If they bring cooled/ventilated seats to the table I will probably have to trade.

This would be great! What zip did you use to build the truck on Toyota.com? I tried to build a 2017 Tacoma using my zip code and this was not one of the accessory options that were available for me. I was trying to build a TRD OR SB, is it an option for Limited only?

    Edit:
Just tried Limited option as well for my area and the power tailgate lock was still not an accessory option.

I'll be trading in the '16 for the 2018 V8 motor option. Instead of the IS 350 3.5 V6, I'm looking forward to the 5.0 V8 currently in the RC F. Gotta love the incestual motor exchange.

I need to look if they have aftermarket. I have my RTT to keep my shit from getting stolen since a cooler can't fit through the space..and I lock my tailgate incessantly..

I too am a tailgate locker. I learned you can unlock with the key, pop the handle to open, then relock and remove the key. When you close it, it's locked.

Yes. When you do it so many times because the need to get in and out and fear of stolen goods it's like all other things. People find ways to make it more convenient. You aren't being pulled around by a horse anymore...
