I'm shopping for brake pads for a 2014 FR-S and would like to upgrade in quality so that the fiancé can take the car to the track for a day or two and not instantly destroy a whole set of new pads. We already have a spare set of tires and wheels for track use.

I don't really even know where to start looking or what is good for this type of driving. Any suggestions on a good resource for info or specific pads would be greatly appreciated.

Used EBC brakes in the past for situations like this. They make all sorts of pads for all sorts of different driving. Always been good to me.

*edit, nice looking car you have there :)

Thanks! I was just looking at the TRD pads about 2 minutes ago, so I'll check out EBC too.
How is dust and noise? Is it a linear force pad or a progressive?

I'll look into them. I am hoping for low dust because I'm trying to convince the missus to run white wheels. But I'll settle for good pads that dust.

That's good to know. I'll browse the EBC catalogue tonight after work. Thanks! I know nothing about street or track driving, but I'm starting to enjoy it.
