Any Recommendations for Remote Starter for TRD Off Road

Looking for Recommendation for an Aftermarket Remote Starter for a 2023 Tacoma OFF-Road. This has the push button start. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

 

It should have remote start as well. I believe you have to press the lock button 2 times and hold down on the third. You will see the lights start blinking then it starts up. That’s how my ‘22 is.

 

Tried it at dealer yesterday, lights blinked but did not start

 

I know it can be sensitive. My likes to work when it wants to. I tried using it this past winter. One morning it would work the next it wouldn’t. I came to believe it is how it was locked the night before. I had to just hit the lock button once and not worry about the second time turning off the lights. I park outside. The doors have to be locked for it to function correctly. If the doors are unlocked, lock them with the remote FOB and wait for about 15 seconds. Then, push the lock button 3 times pausing slightly between presses. On the 3rd press hold the lock button down and wait for the lights to flash 5 times. Release lock button and truck will start.

 

My 19 is hit the lock button 4 times and on the 4th hold it for a while.

 

The 19 didn't have a factory installed remote start.

 

19 TRD Pro did apparently

It's aftermarket. Remote start wasn't available on any model in 19.

OP I have the N2 Designs and it's been great for the last 4 or so years. It's the most recommended here.

I have a 2022. You have to activate the Toyota connected services app. Once you activate then the remote start will work. I resisted activation of the app, until I learned it locked this feature. I tested this with my dealer. From other threads I’ve seen, after the app trial expires, you can still use the triple tap to remote start on the key fob. Good luck.

I hope you find something. I want to do something to fix mine. 23 Trd sport.
Has remote start. But when you get in the
Truck shuts off. Security feature that's annoying!

 

My sister in laws Acura does the same thing. I just want get mine to work 2023 TRD off road

 

I think it will only run for about ten minutes as well

 

That’s what I heard, and also shuts when the door is open

 

FYI, no way around it shutting down when door opens. Factory or aftermarket. Been discussed many times.

 

I've found that this way makes mine start more successfully than just pressing it twice really fast then holding down on the third.

I want to add that I didnt do any of the having to activate the Toyota services app.
