Yes. Traded my 2017 DCSB in for the 2020 DCLB. Building a sleep platform in there for camping/hiking and wanted everything secured with a topper.

Coming from a Silverado crew cab shortbed (6.5ft bed), I am enjoying the much shorter DCLB, which comes in 13” less than the Chevy.

Loved my ‘03 Tacoma Dbl Cab but yea, that bed was a little short, (with shell.) When I camped in it I had to put the tailgate down, not good in snowy weather! I didn’t really haul much in it but I could open the slider for long pieces of wood like 8’ 2x4’s.
This time around I’m going with the Extra Cab so having a 6 foot bed will be kinda nice specially when I camp in it with the shell, I’m happy so far….

These bed extenders make hauling long objects no problem.

I used the crap out of my 6-footer every day of this week prior to today. If I had the 5-footer I would have had to pile all my gear and tools higher and lose even more of the rear view than I did.

I have no idea how you short bed guys do it. On a week long trip I can barely fit the required gear in my DCLB

In the 6 years that I've owned this truck, the only items that have ever been in the bed would be luggage for a trip, groceries and bottled water. If I need to haul anything it goes in my 16' tandem axle trailer. That reminds me, I probably need to make a run to our county incinerator/dump this weekend.

When purchasing my Tacoma last year pickings were slim as most of the units were sold before they got to the dealer. I really wanted a long bed, but had to settle with a short bed. Seems all the dealers around me just get the SBDC.

I like the 5’ bed, if I needed to haul a bunch of stuff I would have bought a full size truck. To me the 6’ bed looks disproportionate unless you have a lift and then they look pretty good.

For me the DCLB works best. I have only needed the longer bed a couple of times and I have a 2016. Still want it just in case and I personally think it looks not chopped off like the short bed does. ****** I feel it rides smoother with the longer wheelbase.

Zero regrets for me. I use a truck as a homeowner truck. The reason I have a four-wheel-drive is because of the snow here in North Central Indiana. I have a 10 foot trailer for stuff that won’t work well in my short bed.

if I would’ve had the option of a short bed versus long bed when I bought my truck, I would have chosen the long bed. But once again, no regrets.

Ok because I think it's criminal to put any one in a Tacoma rear seat I have got to ask "aren't the two trucks the same over all length 5 vers 6 foot bed? Because I removed the rear seats and put a platform in for the dog I guess a gained another 2 feet.
