Any school teachers here? Post your best story...

I was bored today (professional development day full of meetings and down time) and was reading this off topic section and seems like lots of business, office, construction, etc but haven't seen any threads from any teachers. Interested to know if there are any and what kind of stories you might have.

Best one this year so far has been the kid who is begging for attention so much every day he finds new and creative/obnoxious/annoying ways to earn it. He started the year with wearing a ski cap over his face (during the hottest week of the year so far) and progressed from there. Today was a new low, he made himself puke in class! Thank god he didn't have a full stomach and I made the kid clean it up (with bleach) but wtf, this kid's got some serious issues.

My first year of teaching a kid was waiting until teachers left at the end of school and sneaking into their rooms and pissing in corners. One room had a dehumidifier in it so the kid filled it with piss.

Seriously, not making this up. If you have any kids you should ask them to tell you some stories, you'd be amazed what goes on in a school.

 

I am a high school science teacher. Kids do a lot of pranks. One that comes to mind was during my first year teaching, a student entered my room through the drop ceiling.
