Any shops doing OvTune flashes in Norcal?

Hows the truck run after tune?

 

Its supposed to settle in the next 4-500 miles, like a break in period. The butt dyno says it picks up better from idle, better lower end grunt. I feel that it is subtle, but noticeable.

 

Do you feel it fixes the gear hunting issue?

 

helll yee it does, The RMP goes up to 5k before it shifts again HAHAHA.

 

I don’t need my truck to hold gears to 5k while accelerating. I want it to hold gears on the highway on minor hills or when windy.

 

100% fixes this! (IMHO. I don't just do tunes, I'm also a user too lol) Holds 5th gear really well and 6th when you're cruising. Give it some gas and it drops to 5th, but very smoothly. Give it more gas and it will drop to 4th, but that what I expect it to do when I need it. Highways, I'm usually cruising in 6th @ 70mph. Can anyone else chime in on this?

 

Good day everyone! I am happy to see that the Sacramento meet turned out good! @chanvchau and I have been communicating closely about connecting Taco owners that are interested in OVtune. With that being said, I am also doing Tunes. I am in the central valley area up and down highway 99, for the people that needs retuning or tuning hmu or chan. Retuning will be no additional cost if you got it from me/Chan

 

Without the tune, I felt the pain when the motor is screaming going uphill at highway speeds. NO BUENO.

With OVtune, the tranny adjusts gears very well

We do free retunes, so we can tune you first if you want the tune sooner. Then just reach out when you get the 35"s! Just giving you the option!
