I went to a small gun show yesterday, and really liked the sig 365 XL. Anybody own one, and would like to post any comments good or bad. Is it reliable, No jams, misfires, ejection or feeding problems. appreciate any feed back.

I own one. Fantastic firearm. Never had a misfire, jam, etc. Buy it and you won't regret it.

Had one and sold it, mine was a excellent pistol no mechanical issues however the trigger was to mushy for my liking. I will say comfortable to carry, accurate, and dead nutts reliable.

At about 1000 rounds fired through it, I’ve had some failure to extracts but it was totally my fault. I had to disassemble the slide to clean off the firing pin assembly (drenched in lube)[IMG]

I have 2 of the standard 365's. One for me, one for my wife. They quickly became my go-to pistols. No malfunctions at all and very accurate. The XL is just a slightly longer barreled and longer grip version.

I had the option of the XL, but preferred the standard pistol. The XL will only work with 15 round magazines. I have 10 and 12 round mags for mine with the option of 15 round mags giving me the same grip size as the XL. The 1/2" shorter barrel of the standard 365 isn't a handicap for me. I just felt the standard pistol was more versatile. The XL isn't much smaller than my G19.

I basically replaced my G43 with the Sig and 10 round mags for IWB carry and it does everything I can do with my G19 with 12 or 15 round mags carried OWB.

And Sig offers versions with, or without, a 1911 style safety if you want one.

This is not accurate. My xl came with two 12-round flush mags

@rb9228 is correct. I have 2 - 12 round magazines that were included as well.

I have been loving mine! I've gone through about 1500 rounds so far.

yes, that's what the pistol I looked at the gun show came with. I have small hands, and really liked the grip of this pistol. how does everyone like the flat trigger.

Well I pulled the trigger on the Sig 365 Xl today. I've been looking for a 9mm pistol that fits my hand, and this one does a fine job of that. I went to 2 different gun shows to look at it twice and make sure I really like how it felt in my hand. And then Sportsmanoutdoorsuperstore.com sends me an email with a sale going on. Here's what I purchased.

Picking up my 365XL today at my favorite Gun Store. Other than the FFL transfer fee, I try throw some coin his way to help keep his business open. If you're ever in the Rockwell N.C. area, stop by Lead Chunkers Sporting Goods on Highway 52. Looking at a DeSantis and Clark Belt slide pancake holster for the new Sig. Will try and hit the range later this week. As a side note, I sliced a small piece of my thumb off my right hand while sharpening it. I use a Lanksy system to get them razor sharp and slip of my hand, and the Ken Onion Ripple took that small piece off quick as a wink.

how do you like that Holsun sight, Im 64 and the eyes aren't as good as they used to be. I've been reading up and looking at several of these, but the Sig that comes with this pistol, won't be on the list.

picked up my Sig today. have it all cleaned up and ready for the range tomorrow. I'll post some pics later in the afternoon with some target pics.

Well, crap, not going to make it to the range today, but on a bright note, the weather is going to be better tomorrow. Funny how things sometimes work out for the best without any input from us. I really like the feel of this pistol in my hand. really looking forward to shooting. Very curious about the flat trigger breaking at 90 degrees, and the reset is supposed to be short and sweet.

Made it out to the range Wednesday to shoot the new Sig. Really like the pistol, and the way it fits my hand. This is my first pistol with a flat trigger, and having it break at 90 degrees is going to take some getting used to. Here's a couple of my targets, and as you can tell, I have to work on my trigger pull. Shooting to the left, which isn't great, but I guess that's why you practice with a new gun before it's considered into your conceal carry rotation. Target range is only 7 yards, but I took my neighbor with me, and he's not an experienced shooter but he did dam fine. Top target is me, not too good, bottom is my neighbor, I consider his a better all around group.

I've had my P365XL for a little over two years, and it has been my daily carry since purchase. I have about 1500+ rounds though it with no issues what so ever. The size of the grip is a love/hate relationship for many shooters, as it is much smaller than the standard glock/sig that most are used to. With a little practice, it is reasonably accurate. At 12+1, it is very easily concealed, even with fully decked out with light and optic. The trigger is a bit mushy, when compared to my glock 19s and P320s, but it is consistent and predictable. I tend to gravitate to 115gr +P Barnes XPD carry rounds, as I find they are much easier to bring back on target over my standard carry round HST 124gr +P. Likewise, I use 115gr FMJ standard pressure rounds for practice. Over the years, I have tried nearly every semi-auto carry handgun and a few carry revolvers. I find the 365XL the best out of the box, highly concealable, carry pistol I own.

As a final note, I tend not to modify triggers in my daily carry guns. Although I could justify it in terms of making the trigger crisper with less take-up like some of my larger handguns, it is not conducive to your defense, should you ever have to use it in a confrontation.

I'm going on just over 3k rounds - yes, I count - and the only issues I've ever had were mag related. On every sig I have though, I've had the triggers replaced. The reset is too much for me and especially with the p365s. I have no complaints about the trigger setup other than reset, and that goes for most guns tbh. Personal preference.

I came from the Glock 43 before they stole size designs from sig, lol. I'd never go back to anything smaller than the p365xl unless it was a revolver.

Imho, it's the perfect carry size. Not for everyone though. I'll hold onto it until they release Lazer guns that are usb rechargeable ;)

Hope you enjoy yours too OP.

So for I really like this pistol. Fist my hands way better than the FNS 9mm I sold to buy the Sig. Just need to hit the gun range more and shoot it more. I've been looking at different red dots, and really wish that Sig would have designed this pistol to leave the rear sight in place. Not in any big rush, but will continue my research on Red Dots. I just looked at the Riton MPRD 2. I would prefer one with a notch for the rear sight.

Just noticed that says "fits Romeo 1 Pro footprint", meaning full size. Not for a P365XL. This is a P320 series red dot.

I just checked my Romeo Zero and it's similar. Mine has the notch, as should any Romeo Zero.

It also doesn't look like that's anything in current production. Maybe a "soon to be" hopeful. Who knows with the current productions issues SIG is having. They just finally started pushing 17 round P320 mags to sellers. They had some issues and changed the follower color to orange to identify old mags vs. new mags, then they just fell off for a while.

Both the Holosun 507K and SIG's Romeo Zero have rear sight notches. If mine did not come with the Romeo Zero, I would have gone Holosun. It's a better build all around. For example, the RZ you have to remove it to replace the battery where as the Holosun you can open a compartment on the side. From my experience, the circle dot that Holosun offers is also easier to find and I can acquire the dot faster. That's personal preference though and unless you shoot both, you wouldn't know any different with enough training on one alone.
