I much prefer pouches. They are easier to put in/out and don't repulse the ladies as much.

Muddin, you can still get Skoal Citrus?! What the hell. I haven't see it in any form anywhere in Florida for about a year now. You lucky SOB.

you are reading correctly. i usually take just a few very large dips a day and usually dip a can to about a can and 1/4 of another a day.

It quit being cool for the day I stepped off the baseball field for the last time, which is how I got started. Now I'm cutting back even more back down to 2 dips a day and one at the game for old times sake.

i wouldnt mind quitting...give me a lil more money in the pocket....but the stuff is so damn tastey.

Plus it comes in clutch sometime. for example....an ugly girl comes up to you and wont leave you alone at the bar...throw a fat gapper in...she will be gone soon (least around here she will lol)

    See below.
I know a few girls that dip regularly. If you pulled that on most girls around here, about 90% of them, they'd probably try to bum one off you.

wow that's expensive. $10.66 for a five roll sleeve is what i pay for grizzly straight every week. still is depressing when you look at the costs. though i "justify" it in the sense that i never buy snacks or drinks from stores or fast food hardly for that matter.

Man you guys are paying a lot for grizz. When I was dipping grizzly natural, a roll was around 8 and some change. Hell, I pay 9.50 for a roll of cope natural extra long in philly now.

that's cause PA doesn't have a state tax on smokeless IIRC. and the obama tax two years ago made it go up. those ^^ were the prices i used to pay 5 years ago: . . va down to sc are gonna be some of the cheapest prices though compared to the westerners. we grow all the tobacco.

That's true. I mean, even here in jersey where I am a can of cope is like 5 something. For me to go ten mins, over the bridge to philly to pay half of what it is here, makes sense.

You can't beat free. :D But griz around here is ~$2 a can and 7-8 a sleeve depending on where you buy it.

I once worked with a guy that loaded a whole can at a time. He pushed in his jaw, more like chewing tobacco.

I never really cared for dip, except pouches. Didn't do them often, but if someone offerred me one, I'd take it. I actually liked chewing tobacco, but when I lived up North, that was regarded as such a disgusting habit that it was really looked down on. So I didn't chew very often, maybe just when out hunting, or some other guy thing.

But when I moved to NC, everbody chewed-bankers, realtors, engineers, home builders, as well as working stiffs like plumbers, electricians, etc.

So when I decided to quit smoking (after 30 some years) I took up chewing. Loved Levi Garrett. I successfully quit smoking, then after about 6 months, I gave up chewing. Really didn't have any problem quitting, but I enjoyed it so much, I really missed it.

Still not smoking or chewing ( 20 years now). I don't miss smoking, but I still miss chewing.
