    I'm about 5'10, I started to go to the terrain park more and my Burton twin was so heavy and big so I went with a smaller and lighter board so I can pull tricks easier.:D

    I might have to get with you next year and take a trip to Alyeska or Girdwood. I'm headed to CO in Dec but I'll be back in Kodiak Jan till July. We could do a little meet or something with the other AK/ANC guys when I come thru on my drive back to Colorado in July 2011.

    To the OP: I suggest buying used gear until you're sure you like it. Some people get frustrated or realize its not what they expected and quit after blowing alot of money. I started off with some used gear last year and, after falling deeply in love with snowboarding [lol], bought brand new gear at the end of the season when it was super cheap.

    Yeah that would be sick, I always got make a trip out to Alyeska after a big snow storm, Me and my friends usually stay for a weekend an go around Girdwood making jumps and riding the slopes. Here a video we made a couple years back ha.

    Isnt that the truth! But i must say i've lacked the last 2 years, hardly went at all. Im seriously starting to feel like a "poser". haha THIS year will be different! Scaling back the work and music to get back to me roots.

    Definitely try it a couple times, some people give up after the first time. I thought it was alright and after about the 4th time I was hooked!!!

    Lucky...I live like 80 miles away and planning to go once a week...although the back thing isn't so lucky. Hope your better by then, still got at least 7-8 weeks before the resorts open up.

    How has driving in the mountains been for you in the Prerunner?? Ive had to deal with some ice and light snow mostly and wondering what to expect in the Prerunner.
