Will I regret not getting the 4x4 that much???? I have a Prerunner, had a 4x4 before it and only used it twice.. I live in SoCal so I mostly go to Big Bear or Mt.High and am planning to hit up Mammoth Mountain once maybe twice this season, went to Tahoe last season. I have a 2011 with a ALSD and some have said it makes no diff and some said it does, I guess I will just have to test it out myself and hopefully I will have pictures or video to show what happened! Only problem I have had in snow(without Tacoma, in other vehicles) is ice or snow bunching up under the wheel well.(these vehicles were when i lived in colorado)

I really hope it isn't a big deal, otherwise I might run out and get a 4x4! BTW I love taking road trips so driving through Utah wouldn't be a problem in the 4x4 versus my fear in the Prerunner...i take a trip like than maybe every 2 years...

I went to mt.high 2 weeks ago, it was nice! except for the part with the man made snow being sandblasted in my face..so I have been waiting for the conditions to be snow worthy

dont buy burton. i go through about 6 boards a season no matter what brand they all break. but burton is the shit that ive broken the most. google shopping. and look up last years gear. bought a never used last years salomon sanchez reverse camber for $190 shipped. ive had the same pair of Union forces for 2 seasons. longest lasting binding ive ever owned. the new stuff is pricey but i got the season before and only paid 180 instead of 350

skiing needs no instruction. if you've roller-bladed or roller-skated you probably could go pro in skiing after 6 months an some gymnastic lessons. throw on some tall tees. buy a go pro. make some edits to dub step or various types of club music. throw in some face shots of you going uhhhhhhhhh with a grill face, and you're golden.

i find anything i can man. demo boards. some friends get hooked up and i ride their shit when they believe its toast. was on my first lap the other day and broke the Boa system on my DC boots. walked to town dropped $200 on some this years 32 lashes and went back up. (never buy boa or quick lace systems). the only way to get boots tight in the spots you want is with laces. its kinda just a part of the sport. trial and error on brands you may find to like. my suggestion is to try everything. when you break stuff buy a different brand. when you find something you like stick with it. there isnt a better feeling then being locked in tight so it feels as if its a part of your feet.

i was really pissed off about having to spend the money on new boots then strapped on the new 32's and saw it as a little fate. fucking love them. have long narrow feet and can actually get them snug around my ankle. we will see how fast they pack out and or fall apart.

Have you rode a Gnu yet? They are so sweet, best investment on any board ive ever made. Your 08 doesnt have banana traction does it? You headed to T.Line, ski bowl, or somewhere else?

I concur with the stuff about the boa boots.

I've got a pair of Vans with the boa, and they suck to get dialed in comfy. Especially the bridge adjustment. I've gotten to the point where I just take all the slack out of them, then pop the boa open to release the pressure.

I used to wear Solomon, but the lace hooks broke. I hate that nobody makes boots with metal lace hooks.
