A simply question: Have there been any issues with the adhesive on Sport or Pro hoods with that wonderful "scoop"? I passed on buying a new Off Road because the adhesive was not holding the supports to the hood skin in several locations. No sense in buying a potential problem.

The scoop is bolted on though the bracing that come apart on the non scoop hod. So it actually stops the two parts separating. And who said the scoop wasn’t functional.

No problems and the scoop is absolutely functional. It's function is to
    Look good
Make all non scoop owners jealous
    Start arguments on TW.

    I call that multifunctional...

OK..So the scoop is functional. :) Has anyone bought the Sport rather than the Off Road just because of the adhesive problem with the Off Road hood? (I don't need either the locker or the "crawl control" that comes with the Off Road. However, I'd have to buy some good tires for a Sport if I purchase one...another $1000.)

You'll need "good" tires for either option. Any stock ones are junk. 35's or gtfo

Just over a year on mine and no hood issues or problems of any sort. Tires will be my next purchase - thinking Goodyear Duratracs or Trailrunner AT.

On my 3rd set of duratracs and love them. Bummed they don't come in 37's since I'm probably going bigger on my next set

no hood issues here. Scoop Maybe non functional but it does look sweet. I don’t have use for crawl control or 4x4 and in all the years I’ve been driving never had it in any of my vehicles but if those are things you need just get what you like and fits your needs the hood on the truck can always get fixed if it had any problems.
