Sorry about all that. I’m a S&T guy myself but use multiple sources to ensure I have a good understanding or what happens when.

Lotsa good stuff coming up! Thanks for the reminder

what time is the moon rising on the east coast, right now it's bright enough to wash out the night sky. I'm holding out until the 30th before I setup my 12 in Meade LX200. It's a beast to take down and set up, so I'm waiting on no moon and clear skies.

My LX200 ACF 12 inch scope is driving me nuts. Set it up a few nights ago, and it won't track to the planets worth a dam. Going to upgrade my software and see if it fixes the problems.

I have several dusty scopes: 6 inch acromat, 8 inch celestron edge hd, 11 inch celestron and several guide scopes. My mounts are the original 11 celestron al/az mount withe wedge E29FA44D-63A5-40DB-A4B5-42FC1FEECB89.jpg and celestron eq mount. My cameras are deep sky imager, cannon 500d and full spectrum modded 1000d. I have pursued this hobby for 10 years and have some decent pics of galaxies, clusters, planets and comets.

it absolutely boggles my mind, when I think of how big the Universe is, and the number of objects that it holds. Just our Milky Way Galaxy alone is awe inspiring.
