Any success with rattle can painting bumper?

    I use the rustoleum brush on truck bed lining. It seems to work well. I feel like it's tougher than the spray can. Also a big perk of it is its more controlled when putting it on. So you aren't accidentally getting overspray in places you didn't want it.

    I've read that Rustoleum truck bed coating isn't UV stable. If that's the case why not use something similar and just as easy to apply like Monstaliner?

    I tried the Raptor roll bar and chassis paint on mine and it looked great but only held up for about 9 months. PA winter salt ate right through it, the whole thing is a rusty mess now. Off to powdercoat next month.

    We painted my son's Jeep front bumper with Rust Oleum etching primer then satin black Rust Oleum. It's been on a couple of years now and still looks good.
