2nd this, it works great when I go to the beach. I start the truck at the house and throw the keys in the HV. Once I get to the beach no one will see me access it until I leave.

When snorkeling, what I did was locked the truck, then tossed the key fob in my bed (I had a tonneau cover on), and then locked the tailgate using the physical key. I then zipped that in my swimsuit pocket. I was careful when opening the pocket to not let the key get claimed by Lake Superior.

Side note, the keyless start/entry is pretty sensitive to location. I was not able to open the truck or anything else with the fob in the bed.

Seconded. I actually experimented with this shortly after getting my truck. I had someone keep trying to unlock the door via the handle while incrementally walked closer. I was somewhere in the back cab area before it allowed the truck to unlock.

CPS-65 I’m good for some, but I’m not for everyone.

This is what the wife/girlfriend are for. Keys, cooler, spot, and looking good are all their responsibility.

The wife seems to think my keys get dirty, and need washing. 2nd time now they been through the normal wash cycle, and an hr in the dryer getting tumbled dried. Lucky they still work like normal.
