T100s are very good trucks, but they suffer from the same frame rust issues as tacomas, so watch out for that

I was going to look at a nice '93 T100 with 134k miles on it. They didn't have it ready for me to look at, needed water pump and battery. I left kinda bummed about it. After that I went and looked at the 2001 Tacoma, that I now own. I'm pretty happy with the Tacoma, totally would be good with either though. I liked that the T100 was a bit bigger but not really huge. I do lean towards the older Toyota trucks, I think they're pretty badass.

Thanks for all the great useful information. The T100 always was somewhat of a mystery to me and you cleared up a lot of misconceptions. I will certainly put it on my radar, especially if I find a clean machine like the OPs.

Stop it. You're making me wanna sell the taco and find a T100. I saw an ad for one at used car dealer in ID. Had a the 3.4 and a blower and had a lift. Was black and was cleeeeeaaaaann. I like them

They were way ahead of their time. I love the generic utilitarian styling. It looks so much tougher than modern vehicles covered in fake vents, plastic fake chrome and resting bitch face grilles.

The T100 designers must’ve had the easiest job in the world. All they did was magnify the truck they were already making.

I had a 95 T-100 with the 5 speed and that thing was awsome. Torque for days. When I put a throttle body spacer on it and a K&N intake it really responded. I loved that truck. I cant believe I sold it for $1000 here in Ca because it was in superb condition and only had 126,000 miles, it had the original hard to find hubcaps on it too. I know I could have gotten alot more for it but I sold it as is, I didn't wan't to have to smog it so I let it go very cheap. All that buyer had to do was adjust the idle speed because it was a little high then have it smogged. The guy who bought it from me lost it because he got a DUI in it. It was impounded then sold. Your in luck though because I have some rare high performance parts for it that you cannot buy anymore. I have some NOS new in box Gibson ceramic coated headers for it (the 3.4L) and they are even smog legal for CA. I called Gibson for some info and they said they quit making those and they don't have anymore left in stock. They also fit certain 3.4l tacomas. I also have a NOS Jet Performance V-Force performance module for the T-100, it also fits many tacomas, the 3.4L tundra and many forerunners. I would sell the performance module for a good price, alot less then online prices. If you want to see some photos send me a private message. Allan

I had one, first Toyota I ever owned. The only reason I traded it was my family out grew it. I really liked that truck...
