I beleive the 50 y/o age demographic was around when Toyota pickup trucks developed their reputation. I see a lot more older folks driving trds than people my age, because let’s face it, guys my age require giant ass diesels. The fact is, my grandfather was the one who told me to “ALWAYS have a Toyota pickup.” And he was right. I’ve never been without wheels, because my wheels don’t die. Occasionally I’ll see a Toyota bro, and we lock eyes because we know what’s up. But older folks like the Toyota’s because they’ve seen the immortality of this pickup more than anyone else.

Maybe its just where I live but these trucks are everywhere in Washington. I probably see 30-40 of them a day and they are literally driven by everyone. Men and women of fall ages, all nationalities. Never thought of this truck as a 30 something vehicle.....although I am 38 lol

    52+ and loving the taco.
Over 170k, 130k done by me!

7 tacos, 4 runners, 5 tundras at work driven by all ages and genders.

Seems the younger generations like the deisels as mentioned.

The newest truck at the shop is a 2018 TRD OR that a 80yr old guy bought.
