Raptor 4" oval rails, OEM door sill protectors, totally debadged, OEM mud guards, OEM bed mat, OEM S/S tail pipe extension, BDT tailgate letters, Weather Tech sun screen.
Now 75...trying to sell my Harley LowRider (never ride it anymore)...just bought a new Kubota RTV 850 Sidekick (it has 4 wheels and can only go up to 45 mph).

Bought my 16' Tacoma SR5 in Dec. '15. Great dealer...has done all the TSB's (even those where no problem existed). Truck just turned 37K and needs tires (Hancook POS). Can't decide to sell the truck and get a new 19' as I have been offered $26 and only have about $31K in it with the rails, mats (inside and bed), and a few other accessories. But it is been a GREAT ride, gets good mileage, and still looks new. I'm "anal" where the truck is concerned as it is garaged at night except when I go to our beach house in PCB and it has only been off pavement twice. I had a 12' Tundra TRD but sold it for the Tacoma as the mileage sucked and it was too big for my needs. There are loads of Tacoma's in our area (especially in N.FL) and many "oldies" like me drive them. One guy in our area just sold a beautiful Gen 1 for more than it cost new...they hold their value!

Just bought a 6.5' x 12' trailer for the Kubota...hope the Tacoma can pull it OK. Final note: Read TW daily in the early days of ownership but haven't visited the site that much lately. However, the information you get on TW is invaluable and I enjoy the comments of the great members...even those that were negative which seem to dominate TW when the Gen 3's first came out.

59 year old here! My second Tacoma, but I had a brand new 1980 4x4 short bed Toyota. Ordered it in the summer of 79.

Female @63... Drove 3 FJ Cruisers over the last 10 years and traded the last one on a used 17 DCSB Sport and love it. If I had a complaint about it, it’s the crappy stock headlights.... what were they thinking? LOL

I'll be 52 in May and got my first Tacoma last year. If this is all my wife has to deal with for a mid life crisis, she should be happy! Lol

    2018 TRD OR manual
I'll be seventy-seven this year & in Durango, CO I don't get a second glance as this is Tacoma Central on the West Slope of the Rockies.

I was the first guy on the block to purchase a MY 2018 in Dec. of '17. I sold a '97 TJ I bought new & drove for 20 years, outfitted with a Tera Flex 3" lift, 4.10's, & ARB's front & rear, my neighbor has it now. My TRDOR is a 6M & I installed Toyo Open Country AT2's after running BFG's on my vehicles for the last 30 years. Also, I was the 1st third generation manual to receive the 58-18 software update at the local Toyota dealership. (Thanks TW for the info.)

Love the update, hit the desert, kill traction control, & steer with the throttle. (I'm a retired Fed. Special agent, worked many years as a Border Patrol Agent & Customs Agent, lots of high speed pursuits in S. AZ areas. Also raced desert motorcycles District 37 starting in 1965, buggies & ATV's.)

I use the TRD for back roading forest roads around my area, N. New Mexico, & SE Utah. I occasionally trailer my Yamaha Raptor 660 to the Aztec/Farmington NM for desert riding. Rest assured I'm not the only old timer in the 4 Corners still involved in these activities although I've learned moderation the hard way.

I'm 56 with long ponytail and a duck dynasty beard. I get asked a lot if I'm Uncle Sy. I have the most badass truck in my little hick town so I do get lots of stares and people asking me about it. They have all been friendly so it's all good. A guy older than me, a Walmart greeter, was really interested. He had a 3rd gen Taco and wanted to know where I got all my add-ons. So I wrote down all the websites for him. Now he just needs to figure out how to use a computer if he ever gets one.

75 and on my third Tacoma. No unusual looks at me and my Tacoma other than I get complements on the truck on a regular basis. Cement still impresses and although it sees a little dirty driving now and again, I keep it pretty clean inside and out. My next vehicle once I wear this one out (doubtful) or get tired of it will probably a Lexus SUV. We'll see who looks then.
