I read somewhere that, according to Toyota, most buyers of the Tacoma are over 40 years old. I thought that was odd because most people (not all, just most) I see driving them around in them look younger than that...OR...is it possible that everyone, like the posters in this thread, look like Brad Pitt and I don't...IDK. Ahhh crap!

I work for a power delivery utility. Myself and at least half the coworkers in my department (about 35 of us) are 50 to 65. Roughly two thirds of us drive personal pickup trucks daily. Another 10 or so have personal pickup trucks at home but drive high end cars to work and back. I must say that I've never given it a moments thought about what people think of me driving a truck. If I don't fit their preconcieved idea for age / mode of transport, I guess that's their problem, not mine.

Why yes sir SR5BRI is 55 and still has good taste in making my rig look like any 20-30 year old. Not that there is anything wrong with young folks they show me some good ideas also. But I have been doing this since my first taco in 1989 with my first toyota. Red tacoma reg cab 4x4 still had locking hubs

57 years young, I'm a second gen Tacoma owner who likes to lurk on the third gen side. Hey one day I may be in the market for a new Tacoma.
