No I was kidding about the chainshaw thing but I don't want to mess my truck up. If I remember at 6:00 in the morning I do plan on bringing hedge trimmers.

No worries guys, it's an easy an open trail.

They are great about trail maintenance. It's open.

If you want to learn to trail ride, enjoy a ride, this is the place to do it.

You wont use 4wd except for maybe a hillclimb here and there with loose rocks.

It's an 18mile loop, long enough to enjoy an afternoon on the trail. BEAUTIFUL scenery.

I don't have as much fun out there with my Tacoma anymore, have plenty of more challenging trails closer. If I;m up at Green Ridge, I'm on the 4wheeler anymore, more fun for me. i can run the 18mile trail a couple times in a day on the quad, and really open it up on some of the open runs.

Last time I was out at Green Ridge, a black bear ran across the trail 20ft. in front of my 4wheeler.

it's a great time, offers great scenery, easy trails, and amazing camping opportunities.

You guys are going at a great time, before Deer Rifle Season. However, bow season is in, as is Squirrel Season, so there might be some others out there, as well as a bunch of 4wheelers and bikes.

Green Ridge is only about 1hr 15minutes - 1.5hr. from Frederick. I drive that route twice a week in the Tacoma.

I'm missing out on this run, hope to meet up with everybody later.

How about a Sunday evening dinner? Hagerstown? Frederick?

Hope you all have fun. How many are going? What's the count?

    -Sam

mmmm dinner works for me lol I've never actually been to green ridge but one day you have time sam I'll take ya up to a little place i know of lol its great cause there are two ways around almost every mud pit and all so you can take the hard or easy way...and the easy way still requires 4wd and decent tires.

So while in Mexico I just ordered my Scanguage II. I can't wait to get home now and install that bad boy. I will definitely install it before the trip in like the three hours that I will be home before I leave.

Ok, so I haven't had the time to get the diff. breather extension installed... I waited too long to order the parts and they aren't going to come in on time.

Is it THAT big of a deal?
How much water will we be fording?
Can't I just change the fluids after?

    Thanks...

I have run the entire Circuit twice in my truck and it is honestly not bad. My truck still looks mint. The circuit is mostly open and there is only one section that is a little narrow and brushy. You also have an option not to run the thorny part. The loop is cut in half by access roads so you can alway bail out and stay in the open section. 0f the 18 miles I would say that maybe 3 miles can be a little tricky if you are trying to avoid scratches. Overall is mostly open and clear.

It really depends on how much rain we get. Here is a pic from one of the biggest mud holes on the circuit:

Here is a pic of my buddy getting ready to drive my truck through one of the mud holes. He had never been 4 wheeling before so I let him drive most of the circuit.
