Just wondering if there are any tall 3rd gen owners out there and if so how tall and how is it working out? I'm 6'5" 230 and looking to purchase a TRD pro when released.

Little tree air fresheners. Clazzio black leather seat covers.
Not super tall or anything, 6'1" 215lbs.
I think that there is plenty of room. To me it feels like there is more room then in my 2010 Tacoma.
I have a 16' TRD off-road with sun roof. Just have to get the seat positioned just right and no problems

Everyone is a bit different. Some have long legs, some have long torso. Test drive one at the dealer. Even if that particular example doesn't have a sunroof, you can still gauge the clearance and subtract 2".

I'm tall (compared to my dogs) at 5-9 & 150lbs.

I know a few guys ur size who have Tacos and a persons build has much to do with it. My inseam is 32" but I know one of the cat who is taller but has shorter legs.

I'd take my time in trying one on to make sure it fits...with & without sunroof.

6'4" ~300 lb. '16 TRDORAC, just drove it 1500 miles across the U.S. towing a 6x12 Uhaul and a bed full of belongings, a full cab of me, a family member, my cat and his carrier as well as some electronics (I moved from Texas to the East Coast)

Single best experience driving and towing experience in a truck in my life. Was exceptionally comfortable the whole way, other than my nervousness through the mountains, it did everything beautifully. And only lost about 6-7 MPG from my average. LOTS of mountains and still got 12 MPG average.

I'm 6'7" and 260lbs, TRD Sport DC. Mine works well for my family and my situation. I drive it everyday and we use it frequently for family outings (wife + toddler in a card seat). I'm going to have space constraints regardless of what I drive. My head doesn't touch the roof, but I don't have the sunroof either. I came from an 2005 F-150 and didn't loose much legroom, some width. My F-150 was great, but there hasn't been a day that I've missed it. I love my TACO!

6'6" 250lbs. No problem with a double cab with a sunroof. I don't sit straight up and down. But I don't lean back much either. No room.behind me but that is not a factor for my situation.

A lot of people have complained about their heads practically touching the ceiling on the sunroof models. Not sure how tall they are but I am 6' and my head is nowhere near the roof and I have the sunroof. Maybe I am sitting in a different position. Not sure but I am not super short by any means but also not super tall so I would certainly sit in one before buying. I had a second gen and don't ever remember ever feeling cramped. Traded that in for a Venza and drove that for three years and always felt super comfortable. When I first picked up my 2016 I remember feeling cramped and like I didn't have a whole lot of space and felt like I sat too high compared to the steering wheel. It didn't help that while waiting for finance to get their shit together I was tinkering with a Tundra on the showroom floor. Had the truck a little over a week now and have become accustomed to it. The truck is not spacious like a full size but for me it works for what I need. If I truly needed a pickup on a daily basis I would have opted for a Tundra but for the occasional weekend projects or hauling a bike or some other toy once in a while I just couldn't justify a full size. My 2 year old is a little cramped with her car seat sitting behind me but the 5 year old gets first dibs at sitting behind the passenger seat that doesn't need to be back as far. She's almost ready for a booster so I am hoping when that happens she will be comfortable behind me and I can move the two year old to the other side. Two car seats definitely shows just how small the back seats are in a Double Cab and had me remembering why I originally decided to get rid of my second gen for something more family friendly but I know if all four of us are going anywhere that isn't considered local we will just load up in my wifes SUV. Problem solved especially since 90% of the time I am in the truck alone.

I'm not as tall as some others on here but at 6'2" 190lbs I find there is plenty of head room and leg room. Of course a grown adult probably doesn't want to sit behind me but they can if they need too. I opted to not have the tech package so I didn't have to deal with the sunroof. I sit pretty straight up and I didn't feel as comfortable with the sunroof, without it though I have plenty of headroom and it feels great.

I'm definitely not as tall as some of the other posters in here but at 6'2, 275 (DP Show ding) I have plenty of extra head space in my '16.

I'm 6'4", 275lbs. I'm able to fit 5 adults total in this truck, but you'll want the "smaller" people in the back. I generally scoot my seat up a bit when someone's behind me, but I'm still not crammed into the wheel.

Coming from a Ford Explorer Sport-Trac, this has less legroom, but more ground clearance.
