I ended up using a thread chase and tapping oil to “clean up” the threads on the nut welded to the inside of the chassis extensions. I’m being very generous with saying “clean up” the threads. I’m pretty sure the nuts weren’t to spec; I have chases for m12x1.25, 1.50, and 1.75 and none seemed be the magic spot. But they are now, and I’m finishing up the install slowly since it’s hot and muggy here in FL.

thank you guys for the pictures and help!

This is a sort of old thread and my question is somewhat different but when installing did any of you guys do a winch? Which ones fit? Whats the cheapest winch that will fit and isn't a POS? also after installing did you notice any sag or in the front or front rake. would i need to get spacers or leveling kit? I havent gotten my bumper yet but should be seeing it in a week or 2 here. Any help is appreciated.

@Kwikvette if you don’t mind me asking what is your Front Suspension set up (to hold up the arb)? Or the best budget recommendation?

Best budget option is going OME Nitrocharger shocks, with the appropriate coils (882?) though any vendor online (and this forum) will easily tell you what coils to choose.

You'll need to factor in a winch if that's in the works or not, as well as desired lift.

My truck was a Prerunner, so lighter than your 4x4 due to lack of cv axles, front diff, and transfer case.

I had Fox 2.5 coilovers up front with 600lb springs, and Fox 2.0 rears with an OME Dakar leaf pack in the rear.

I'll post a pic of how it was before I got rid of it when I get home.

Awesome! This is exactly what I was looking for. The previous owner already had the Arb bumper on the truck, but I believe its the stock suspension because it droops a little…
    Thanks @Kwikvette

@TRD_IV - FWIW, I’m still sitting on 881s with nitros. I was going to swap them out for 882s but haven’t. I have not added a winch to the ARB yet but as it sits now, it’s actually fine. Double Cab 6cyl 4wd swap here.

If I ever get around to installing a winch, I’ll reassess a coil swap.

Nice! @Area51Runner I probably won’t be getting a winch anytime soon. I’ll probably go with 881’s with nitros then

See, you'll easily get your answer here on the forum.

882's if you go bumper and winch, but not necessary if you're going without a winch as the ride will feel 'stiff'.

    My old Prerunner -
