Is your supercharger factory? Yours is just a baby, my 97 has 4x that lol.

 

Always wondered what that meant.

Is that as opposed to rolled back miles? Unoriginal miles? Other?

Nice looking truck. Even mine will likely have more miles at 15. You need to enjoy it more.

 

It's original miles and I'm the 2nd owner , I've got all the original paperwork including the window sticker . I know the original owner and he never drove it much either

 

Nope Dealer installed 2 years after the original owner bought the truck

When you say original miles, it implies that if you didnt say original, the miles were somehow fabricated. In other words, if you just said, "2002 Tacoma Pre Runner 4 cyl , supercharged 56k miles", it would mean the same thing.

In any case, nice truck. It's got a long life ahead of it.

 

Original miles is like when someone offers you money for your truck and says "cash" as opposed to I O U's?

 

Like I mentioned I bought the truck from the previous or original owner but actually from his son . His dad was in the hospital for complete kidney failure and wasn't expected to survive

So his son sold off most of his stuff but then a couple months later he regained use of his kidneys and fully recovered . Now his dad is pissed off at his son for selling it and has been asking for his truck back

Found my 01 this summer with 54k. I couldn't resist. Bought it. Sold my second gen, and started over. Currently at 56k.

I'm going to keep it. But I do feel bad about the situation . didn't know anything about his health getting better after 2 months from when I bought the truck

Just playing with ya, maybe you meant purchased from 'original owner'? Either way, no ill intent from my end and I'm sure from Bill's end.
I'm curious, have you ever driven the 2.7L without a blower? I'm curious how someone familiar with both would describe the improvement. Maybe with the blower it feels like the V6? Or maybe even pulls harder than the V6?

 

Yep low boost pulley on it right now but also have 8lbs pulley
